This half term, we are combining our DT unit with our Skills Builder learning to do 'Brilliant Bakes'. To ensure that we can create our own brilliant bakes, what better way than to taste test some wonderful sweet and savoury baked food freshly prepared by our wonderful school cook?

We taste tested sausage rolls, veggie rolls, cheese straws, jam tarts and tiffin so that we could learn about a wide range of baked goods. We discussed their appearance and how they tasted, so that we are now ready to think about our own 'brilliant bakes'!
