Lime Class love reading and they love books so we combine the two for maximum enjoyment! This week the children enjoyed reading about time, skip counting and even a little bit of data handling.

There has been a lot of excitement in Maths lesson this week as the Year 1's begin to learn about groups of numbers. We've been connecting our learning and started to write our times tables! There have been lots of practical opportunities in lesson this week to develop our new skills of repeated addition and making arrays.  The Year 2's continue their topic of mass and have excelled in their problem solving skills. They've tackled some very challenging multistep word problems this week and used the scales to balance equations.
