We have had a busy week in reception classes!

As part of our RE Unit 'Creation and Covenant', we have been learning about all the wonderful things God created for our world. We went on a nature walk to look for signs of God's gifts. We are lucky to have such lovely school grounds.

In our Maths lessons we have been learning about the purpose of counting and how to ensure we count objects correctly.

We have enjoyed a 'Big Draw' where the children need to listen to, and follow instructions, in order to draw something on their whiteboard. Do you like our dogs?!

Our phonics lessons are slowly building up pace and the children are enjoying learning through the Little Wandle scheme. Please look out for the home learning document which is sent out via Parentmail every Friday, and please practise the sounds and tricky words your child has learnt that week to further support your child's learning.
