We were invited to join the rest of the school to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee. The children came to school in their best party clothes and wore the crowns that they had made for the occasion. We spent some time in the morning decorating a tablecloth to use for our picnic lunch. After enjoying lunch the children joined Cherry and Holly classes to share some group activities in the afternoon including a special dance, flag making and preparing cucumber sandwiches for afternoon tea.
