Painting with Pipettes
Some children in Acorns experimented with paint in pipette syringes. They carefully squeezed the paint out, whilst trying to make circles, zig-zags or lines with the paint. This was quite tricky for little fingers! The children then had the choice to leave their pictures as they were, or lift and tilt the tray to see the unique results as the different colours merged and blended into each other. This allowed for lots of conversation about colour mixing and visual affects. They are displayed in Acorns classroom window.
