In Holly and Cherry classes, the children have been participating in activities which use their motor skills in various ways. They took time to carefully extract the seeds from pumpkins, (whilst counting, one more than/less than), and the sensory experience of feeling the "soft, squishy and slimy" pumpkin flesh!

Skilled throwing was demonstrated when trying to hit certain numbers on the sticky-ball target board. The children were also encouraged to record their scores to compare results. 

As part of our current theme 'Transport' some children have chosen to create a map of their journey to school and the transport used.
