Reception have been super busy with their new theme 'Growing and Changing'. The children have planted mustard cress and sunflower seeds and have experimented with vegetable tops. They have been learning about evergreen and deciduous trees, and went for a walk around the lovely school grounds to find some. We have laid our 'Creation' pebbles at the beginning of the entrance pathway.

We celebrated World Book Day, and came to school in our pyjama's and brought a book in to share.

The children marked the start of National Science Week by watching a presentation by a parent, who bought a robot in and let the children have a go at operating it!

In Art, the children had a go at matchstick drawings in the style of Lowry.
