We have had a busy week in Holly and Cherry!

The children have begun their Forest School sessions in the Jubilee Woodland. Tina has been helping them to learn how to explore in the forest; how to use the equipment responsibly and how to keep themselves safe, whilst learning new skills. 

We had our annual Writing Festival, where we enjoyed a reading session with some older children. Parents were also invited in to support their child to create a story-mountain relating to 'Room on the Broom' (which they know well!) This gave the children an opportunity to demonstrate their phonic knowledge as they were challenged to write some words on their story-mountain.

On Remembrance Day, we went to the whole school assembly, held a minute's silence and then laid our poppy wreath in the prayer garden, near the statue of Our Lady.
