Crumbly Jam Tarts

As part of our DT topic we made some jam tarts. Before we chose which jam to use we tested a variety of flavours to see which we preferred. Surprisingly, marmalade was a favourite with many of the children. The children measured, poured and mixed the ingredients to make the dough. What a wonderful bunch of bakers they were, taking careful consideration to read the measurements correctly and follow each step of the recipe. The children were amazed with their final products and loved tasting them!
