Policies & Financial Information

For the sake of transparency, consistency and monitoring, St Louis Catholic Academy has a number of written policies. These are intended to set out how the school, and the people in it, should act in certain circumstances. The policies available on-line are shown below.

As well as the policies below, we also work within the policies of Our Lady of Walsingham Catholic Multi-Academy Trust. These can be found on the Trust website here.  Please note that where our school has its own policy in any given area, this will take precedence over the Trust Policy.

If you want to know our policy on something that is not listed, please ask the school office. If you would like a paper copy of any documents on the website please contact the school office.

Prevent Duty

From 1 July 2015 all schools are subject to a duty under section 26 of the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015, to have “due regard to the need to prevent people from being drawn into terrorism”.

This duty is known as the Prevent duty.

All teaching staff at St. Louis Academy have undertaken Prevent duty awareness training in order to identify children who may be vulnerable to radicalisation, and know what to do when they are identified.
