Shades... of emotions and in times of excessive sun!
Hello and welcome to another week in Sycamore! It was lovely to meet some of you at Parents Evening this week, and I'm looking forward to meeting to rest of you next week.
This week in Sycamore has seen us having a talk from Mr De Souza and some of his team from Addenbrooks Hospital all about what they do when people arrive in A+E from having lots of accidents including falling into hedges and walking into swings whilst people are on them etc. etc...! The children loved meeting the team who were so friendly and amenable to answering all sorts of questions, so thank you!
We have also been practising note-taking using key words or images to help us to remember important parts of the story of Abraham and Sarah.
We ended the week with exploring shades of emotion - is sad always sad or is it being upset or devastated or heartbroken?
Next week we are looking forward to week 1 of our school Writing Festival... I wonder what the week will hold...
