What am I?
We've had another busy couple of weeks since returning! Vocations Fortnight, an in school, one man 'theatre' visit, talks from One Life about healthy eating and those Year 4 timestables tests...
Vocations Fortnight saw lots of visitors come in to discuss their vocations and jobs in life (Covid-friendly!). The children became very well-practised in asking all kinds of relevant questions about qualifications, the route the people took to get to their vocations, what they like best about their vocations etc. Today we ended our celebrations with dressing up as our own vocations and I must say, what a fantastic effort!
Justin came in to share his one-man-show, 'The House That Jackson Built', which the children really enjoyed and joined in with. It was all about reusing rubbish and using books and stories to immerse ourselves in. The following day, we enjoyed a drama workshop in the hall getting creative with book characters and linking these to the play that we saw.
The Healthy Eating talk series is nearly over... so far we've learnt about food types and portion size and have learnt handy ways to help remember these. Thank you One Life.
The timestables tests went smoothly; hopefully all that practice on TTRS helped!
Finally, we even had a chance to 'look' at the solar eclipse!
Not long now...
