Back Together Again!

It's been such a wonderful (and noisier!) week back together again as a whole class. And what a week to return back to: Science Week and the extended Fairtrade Fortnight!

The theme of this year's Science Week was 'Innovating for the Future' which was a perfect link between our current topic of 'Inventions Through Time' and our next unit based on 'Transport'. The children have been flexing their creativity muscles and working together in teams to design futuristic transport as well as being inspired by insects in the engineering world, testing food flavours vs. their appearance and how illnesses spread. Their costumes today for 'Mad Science Day' and an exciting visit from 'Dangerous Dan' were fantastic; thank you for all of your efforts.

Here are some photos from this week and also a few from World Book Day last week. Enjoy!
