On Friday the 18th of October we celebrated Show Racism the Red Card day. By wearing an item of red, we stood in unity to show our support for this cause. The children enjoyed colouring and decorating images that highlight how we are all different but equal. The book, Show Racism the Red Card helped to answer lots of questions that the children had about racism. Understanding that the amount of melanin in our skin is the reason we have different skin colours was a highlight for the children.
