Great Fire of London Day
This half-term the children have been learning all about the Great Fire of London, so to conclude our topic with held a themed morning where we dressed up and celebrated all our learning. Throughout the morning, we had many opportunities to experience elements of life during the 1600's, attempted to think like Christopher Wren and build a church from a plan and demonstrated our creative abilities with lots of arts and crafts. We even wrote shorthand like Samuel Pepys using quills! The children had a fantastic morning, and it was wonderful to hear them sharing their favourite elements of the morning and proudly sharing all that they have learnt this term. Well done everyone!
