Rowan were lucky enough to be taken to Stansted Mountfitchet to visit the castle. 

We have been learning about castles in out topic lessons and thoroughly enjoyed exploring life inside a medieval mottle and bailey castle

Our favourite parts were meeting the animals that wandered around with us and finding out more about life and punishment in these ancient civilisations.

Unfortunately Mrs Hodson forgot to take the ipad so we don't have many pictures of the day, but if you ask us we can tell you all about it.
