Busy, busy, busy!

We have had a very busy end to the first half-term in Cherry and Holly class.

Holly class wore their waterproof onesies for their Forest School session this week - don't they look great?!

We had Collective Worship in the Prayer Garden at the end of our Creation unit in RE. We reflected on all the wonderful things God made and how we can look after them. Our Prayer tables demonstrate the children's learning during this unit.

We had a Writing Festival too where some Year 5 and 6 children came to buddy up with Reception class. We read the 'Stickman' story then the children had a range of writing activities to choose from including writing a postcard home to the Stick family, writing a new version of the story and drawing Stickman. The older children listened to the younger children's ideas and modelled writing them down. This was great opportunity for Reception children to see the purpose of writing.
