The Year 6s all went on a morning's outing to The Theatre Royal in Bury St Edmund's after having attended some playwriting workshops in school in previous weeks. The visitors from The Theatre Royal had taken the children through the A to Z of playwriting and then set them the task of penning their own creations. Our children did a stellar job and handed in some fantastic and original scripts!

One prizewinner was chosen from St Louis - Jessica Cournane from Larch Class - and her play was performed on stage by seasoned actors. What a thrilling treat it was to see Jessica's play staged in such a beautiful setting. Well done Jessica! Hopefully not the last of your plays that will feature in a theatre! And well done also to those who tried their hand at this delightful craft.
