On Tuesday 1st March the children learned about the meaning of Shrove Tuesday and Lent. We talked about how we can give up something we like to remind us of Jesus' sacrifices during Lent and how we can try to live more like Jesus in our daily lives. We will be collecting examples for our Faith Life book, so please email Mrs Bryan to tell her about how the children are doing this throughout Lent (photos would be lovely!). On Shrove Tuesday we ate pancakes together with a choice of lemon or strawberry topping. The children enjoyed this as a group and were all keen to try the alternative options.
