School Timetable

No responsibility will be accepted by the school for any child on the premises or within the school grounds before 8.50 a.m or after 3.30 p.m unless in groups organised by the teaching staff.

Morning Classes.

 

8.15 a.m Briefing meeting for all Teaching staff – Thursday
8.40 a.m Seedlings (NAM) Class begins
8.40 a.m Children go straight to classroom
8.50 a.m Morning Prayer & Registration
  • Celebration Assembly Monday 9.00 a.m – 9.30 a.m. Assemblies Tuesday/Friday 9.00 a.m – 9.15 a.m.
  • Younger class have assembly each Wednesday. The last Wednesday every month is Bring & Brag.
  • Registers will be sent to the Reception Office no later than 9.15 a.m with any money that may come in. Children are expected to bring dinner money to school on Monday morning in a marked envelope.
  • Teachers are not responsible for counting money. All money will be handed to the Finance Office.
  • No money to be kept in the classroom.

 

10.20 a.m – 10.40 a.m
Foundation (FS) and KS1 morning break
10.50 a.m – 11.10 a.m
KS2 morning break
  • There will be at least two adults on duty each playtime.
  • In Winter, children play on “hard” playground, Summer on the lawn. A bell is rung to mark the end of playtime. When the bell is rung, children stand in silence, then line up where their teacher is standing when the second bell is rung.
  • Wet Playtime – Children remain in their classrooms for indoor activities, board games/story.

 Lunch Time.

11.40 a.m Seedlings Class ends
12.00 – 1.00 p.m
Lunch hour – FS & KS1
12.25 p.m Saplings (NPM) Class begins
12.30 p.m – 1.30 p.m Lunch hour – KS2
  • Each class will be led to the cloakroom by their lunchtime supervisor.
  • Children must keep a strict silence on corridors and stairs while walking to and from cloakrooms.
  • On arrival in the hall all classes will sing Grace before meals prayer.

 Afternoon Classes.

 

1.00 p.m FS & KS1 Afternoon school begins
1.30 p.m
KS2 Afternoon school begins
  • Five minutes before the Teachers collect their pupils the senior supervisor, or allocated person on duty, will sound a warning buzzer for staff and will then ring the bell for children to stop play and line up in silence. Staff are expected to respond promptly and collect children from the playground to resume afternoon classes.
  • The afternoon starts with the prayer after meals, led by the teacher.

 

3.20 p.m School closes
3.25 p.m
Saplings Class ends
  • Before taking children to the playground for dismissal the evening prayer is said. Each Teacher will release children on sight of parent/carer. Yr 5 & Yr 6 children will require a form to be completed if travelling independently.
  • Any children who are not collected by 3.30 p.m will be taken back into the school until parent/carer arrives. If there is no message from parent/carer in this time they will be contacted by telephone.
  • Parents/Carers are expected to inform class Teacher if there is any change in arrangements for collecting children at the end of school.
