Parking

Parking arrangements for St Louis School.

The parking situation at St Louis School has been greatly eased since the Waitrose store opened in 2004. These are the rules on parking. For the safety of your child please respect these rules.

  • Car parking on the site is strictly for staff and disabled visitors only.
  • Parents and visitors must not drive into the school site.
  • No cars must enter the narrow lane to the cottages behind the school. This is a private drive and offers no access to school.
  • The generous provision by the Waitrose Partnership of two-hours free parking and a gate onto Rayes Lane has provided a safe and convenient solution to the long-standing parking problems.

Please Note: Do not park on Rayes Lane or Fordham Road.

Neither Rayes Lane nor Fordham Road permit parking during school hours. By persisting in parking in these areas parents are unnecessarily putting both their children’s safety at risk and damaging the good relations the school seeks to maintain with its neighbours.

The governors urge all parents: Put the safety of your children before all else by parking in the Waitrose car park.
